The Dina Foundation will provide a safe home and education for 300 poor children so that they can avoid poverty, stay healthy, and have hope for their future.
10 miles outside the well-known tourist place Stonetown, The Dina Foundation has bought a lot of land (1300 x 1150 feet) where we will build the vocational training center for boys and girls. This will be a campus also hosting a school, dental clinic and a health clinic.
April 23, 2015 we broke the ground for this new campus. First up is the building of a security wall all around the campus and then we will start to build the center. At least 64 girls and 64 boys will have their home here and our desire is to provide schooling for 300 children.
A draft of the buildings:
The first drafts of the buildings are made. You can see them here.
At present moment The Dina Foundation is looking for partners in financing this project. We challenge businesses to part-take in this project that will help the poor children on Zanzibar by providing health care, education and safety for the children.
New drafts are being made for the project.
